Waking Up In Florence

When waking in Florence, my heart does rise,

And summon the senses, beyond my eyes,

Where trees adore the outside scene,

And birds implore your mind to dream,

And hills surround your sacred heart,

But sadness fills your time to part -

But Lo! Declare your sadness end,

For no, your dream will never end,

For I wake in Florence everyday,

When waking in Austin; where my heart does lay.
