Sliding Hearts

And if my heart should fall again,

And if your heart should tell me when,

Then tell my heart to slip to you,

Slip forever, slide with you,

Into the course that’s heaven sent,

Into my lap without relent,

I find you sliding ‘round the way,

Motion gliding hearts astray,

From solitary sliding paths,

Into the one upon our lap,

May fate collide what holds us dear,

May love now slide us near and near.
