Bask in the Beauty of 4 AM
Is anyone awake? Can anyone hear?
How quiet thy sound, when sleep is in gear,
To peer out the window, and chance but to see,
No lights coming ‘round, no spirit but me,
But' tho’ dark may be this heavenly night,
Swelling in me is lonely delight,
For’ as wonderment peeks atop all the land,
I feel not alone in life that is grand,
But pray that the day will bring such a gem,
But’ now bask in the beauty of 4 A.M.
