An Ocean of Love Away

Today our bodies have parted, how ever will I sustain?

Without my dearly departed, an ocean of love away,

Three years have I seen you since, and sweeter your eyes have become,

Your voice an angelic vessel, with lips that melt my heart undone,

May my love be your warm blanket, ever to hold at your side,

So soft, tender and caring, your haven if ever you hide,

May thoughts bring us closer together, though distance may keep us away,

But sweeter do our memories serve us, as countdown begins on this day,

‘Til date of our reuniting, I dream and I dream in my mind,

Of love if ever so pure, may never before may I find,

My pledge is now ever-serving, my heart found just in one place,

Though ocean of love stands between us, may spirit inhabit this space.
