Upon Arrival in India

And blessed be the man who finally returns,

And blessed be the land he religiously yearns;

For Aeons and Centuries we have been the same,

One in the other, the other in name,

From Empire to Riches we dare to now dream,

Together, united, the water to stream,

To land of my being, so welcome I find,

The touch of a woman caressing my mind,

For though we be parted by ocean and time,

I find you as clear as tear in my eye,

Though time be'eth short that we may now share,

I pledge you this promise til death leaves me bare,

I am you the People, the Land and the Sea,

Forever eternal I pledge you my Being.
